Hannah Barnes Designs has been established for nearly ten years, built from a passion for design and creativity, functional space and that essential personal touch.
Hannah was also asked to be a Guest Demonstrator at The Ideal Home Show in Manchester and Leeds for three years running. She devised short demonstrations on many aspects of interior design and DIY, dressing the Interior Design Stage and Room Sets to help visitors see the potential in their own homes. Hannah’s Interior Design Taster Session allows you to visualise a whole new look for your room, before you commit to other design services. The service includes a quick chat with Hannah, who will then use her sources to gather ideas, colour swatches and samples and present them in your home. Its a great way to see what an interior design scheme could incorporate in an instant.
Typical full design schemes can start from £200 – 600 , so by spending just a fraction of the cost, you’ll get a much better idea of how to improve your room and can look at our optional services later if you wish.

Art and Design Workshops for all ages!
Bring our the interior designer in you, with our unique workshops for all ages groups.
Introduce a group of friends, or children to the creative world of interior design with workshops designed to be fun, informative and inspiring.
Hannah Barnes has devised and carried out several 10-week workshops for local schools and community centres across Greater Manchester, for both adults and primary children in after school programmes.
For the adults, you can learn how to create your own mood boards, draw plans to scale and focus on the techniques of lighting and colour schemes. At the end of a 10-week course, you’ll be ready to redesign a room in your own home, just like a professional!
For the children, the workshops are art and craft based, and age appropriate. The children will learn how to glass paint, create mosaics, collages and will have the chance to mix and create their very own paint colours. These workshops are fun and messy – designed to bring out your child’s natural creativity.
