Bedroom Interior Design Project in Manchester

This house is a period house and we wanted the design to enhance its charm.  By de-cluttering the Master Bedroom to only show what the client really loved, such as like books and art, they found they wanted this room to be a peaceful and tranquil space for them to read and relax.  This bedroom was spacious with lovely large windows, we reshuffled the layout so the bed faced the window allowing the coffee morning armchairs to sit in the bay window.  The feature in this room is the striking mahogany four-poster bed, resembling a boutique hotel style.   By adding more light with subtle bedside pendants and classic lanterns just adds to the whole relaxed feel of the room.
We wanted to keep the Master Bedroom relaxing but fresh so adding the white painted furniture complimented that.  The green pastel furnishings along with the pastel colour on the walls made the room very inviting and warm.  In the Guest Bedroom we added streamlined oak fitted furniture but still kept with the warmth with mellow furnishings.  For the office adding classic paneling with inset textured wallpaper really can make a room look so different – adding sophistication and depth – Hannah.

In the Guest Bedroom we wanted the look a little more modern so we redesigned the fitted wardrobes for a streamlined look in oak and fitted a bespoke solid wooden headboard both with clever lighting for highlighting them. Instead of a book case we made a bespoke window seat with a book display underneath for convenience.

The home office style resembles an classic Gentleman’s retreat with warm olive green with textured bronze wallpaper.  We reupholstered the old sofabed for a brand new look along with framing the clients favourite artwork. Adding a built an alcove with lights above, allowed us to feature gorgeous antique mirror for added glamour.
