Contemporary Open Plan Project in Manchester

This modern town house was lovely and spacious already, but needed an updated refresh. We wanted to open up the living room by adding mirrors along one wall and making a custom built TV unit with lighting.  In the dining area we dressed a gloss white extendable table and chairs using copper accessories and lights.  In the kitchen we replaced the doors and worktops to complement the rest of the design so the transition into all the areas are sleek and seamless.  The dark walnut floors were the biggest transformation, replaced with cool grey vinyl, and the existing sofa looks brand new after we reupholstered it in a soft stone fabric, dressed with contemporary cushions.

“The really special thing about this project, was the client’s love for an ultra modern geometric scheme with added touches of cool copper.  The room now feels light and airy and the mirrors really open up the room, giving the illusion of more space.” – Hannah

“This project is a great example of how a room’s existing structure can be easily updated with just a few clever design tweaks.” – Hannah
