Hallway Interior Project in Manchester

These clients longed the hall to be a homage of is originality too, whilst being welcoming and fresher with impact. We added extra lighting to brighten the whole area with big feature lanterns.  The strong blue adds impact on one feature wall, giving a rich warmth.
We redesigned the floor with Karndean vinyl in a herringbone layout, adding grandeur and charm, along with re-paneling the side of the stairs to keep within the character and age of the house.  Finally, we also dressed the entryway with a monks bench for hanging items and convenient seating, and a bespoke radiator cover to keep within the style.
This is a beautiful house with lots of character and features.  I really like the effect of the reflection of lantern lights on the ceiling. These clients are local people and have a lot of their own old local map artwork which we wanted to retain.  The hall now feels welcoming and grand as soon as you open the front door. – Hannah
