Home Office Interior in Manchester

Jo was starting up her new business from home and needed a multifunctional office space where she could have one-to-one and group meetings, whilst still having a relaxed and at-home feel.  The room needed to be light and airy with a splash of bright colour, and to remain sensitive to the period of her home.

We used a fresh crisp white on the walls with a splash of bold and zingy green in small areas. Tall mirrors help to double the illusion of space and light near the pocket doors.  Instead of carpet we stripped back the floorboards and finished with a white-washed coat. We added a classic bookcase with pretty lighting to reflect the ago of her home.  To make the room really interesting we used different fabric prints on the outside of the Jo’s old armchairs, and finished the room off with a big whiteboard for important work-lists. – Hannah
