At Hannah Barnes Designs we’re all about creating rooms that capture your own unique personality, likes and needs, which is why no two rooms we create ever look the same. But sometimes clients want to ensure their rooms are on trend with current interior styles, so if that’s you, read on. Here are some of the top interior trends for autumn/winter 2015 according to leading stores and publications.
1. “Shades of Grey”, The Telegraph

Shades of grey
The Telegraph.co.uk claims that neutrals this winter come in the form of winter-morning greys. Stylists are using ash greys, pale woods, and smokey grey throws to create the look. Imagine winter mists on a frosty morning.

2. “Rich Textures and Saturated Hues”, Elle Décor

Top of the list for Elle Décor is the use of rich textures and deep hues. Elledecor.com says olive, navy, ruby and aubergine are in. And the great thing is, you can use this colour as an accent against the pale shades of grey.

3. “Warm Colours and Weathered Timbers”, Homebase

One of DIY store Homebase’s key looks for this winter is the inclusion of earthy, cosy tones and classic tweeds. “Don’t be afraid to embrace darker colours and warm hues, whilst using lighter woods, natural grains and tan leathers” they say.

So here are three top trends for autumn/winter 2015. Select one, use elements from them all, or create your own theme in its entirety. What really matters is that the end result is something you’re happy to come home to.
