Attic Playroom Project in Manchester

Our clients Jo and Simon wanted to make better use of their unused attic, and asked us to create an amazing space for their children to enjoy.

The brief was a cool, modern space full of fun and colour. Adding the clear glass banister made the room look much bigger and brighter, and we managed to squeeze in a 6 foot pool table as the main focal point of the room.

A graffiti inspired digital wall mural added a youthful backdrop to pops of bold red throughout the space, and the existing deep windowsill became a chill out seat for the kids to hang out.

One of my favourite part of this room is the unusual lighting – from the industrial style ‘drainpipe’ ceiling light, to the scattering of circular wall lights, and the neon strip floor lamps – each add a unique element to this funky interior – Hannah

This space required new electrics, plastering, full decoration and new carpets.  Our contractors also created a new doorway to access storage space in the side of the attic, along with alcove storage for the children’s board games and gym equipment such as boxer gloves, weights and yoga mats.

As part of this project, we transformed two of the boy’s bedrooms too – see projects pictures here!
