Lounge Interior Project Sale

As we have worked with Jo and Simon on several projects before they requested us to update and revitalise their spacious front living room.

They wanted the lounge to be kept to its original period style but also welcoming and cosy for family time and movie nights.  Wanting a rich opulent style, we dressed the room with black and gold velvet curtains, a stunning Sisal Rug with leather border, and a glamorous leather chandelier. We also refurbished their original charming sandstone fire.

Jo and Simon longed for a quiet, luxurious retreat from the rest of their busy house. Somewhere for adults to enjoy with a glass of wine – but also suitable for family movie nights on cold winter evenings.
We’ve used many pastel shades throughout the rest of Jo’s home, and so this room needed to stand out.  We used bold dramatic navy blues against rich blacks and classic Farrow & Ball wallpaper above the picture rail.  Jo and Simon were brave enough to opt for a deep blue ceiling which creates a cosy, intimate atmosphere. – Hannah
