Louis, The Plasterer

Louis Krivonjeva started work in the plastering trade in his home country, Kosovo, as part of a family business in the building trade. He said rendering, which is the plastering of exterior walls, is more common in Eastern Europe and he got get plenty of practice in his chosen profession while growing up.

He moved to England in 2006 and further developed his skills, including gaining a Diploma in Plastering. He also spent time in Germany, where he perfected his trade.

He has worked on commercial and private projects, including for Affordable & Stylish Interiors in Chorlton.

He likes the appearance of properties after they have been plastered because they have a smoother, cleaner finish.

Louis, who married in 2010 and is now a proud father to a baby girl, said: “It’s important to make sure the lines are straight and all corners are neat and tidy.

“The job is hard work and keeps me fit. But rendering gives a nice finish and it’s satisfying when the job is done well and people are happy with your work. “

Louis now lives in Manchester and said he likes England, but the weather is a bit cold and windy for him at times.

The Manchester United fan likes a kick around with friends in his free time.
