A fresh light filled transformation for a young single professional, with focus on comfort and relaxation

A modern palette of cool greys, blush tones and metallic combined for this long and narrow open space at the ground floor of this Manchester townhouse.

The zones were redefined with bespoke furniture to house the television, reupholstering the client’s own giant corner sofa and creating a contemporary moment of interlocking mirrors. This unique feature gives the illusion of a wider space and helps all the new lighting to bounce around the room.

The kitchen received a cosmetic facelift for a new look without a complete new refit, including new ultra matt worktops, glass splash-backs, and new handles.  Luxurious textiles with faux snakeskin textures, velvets and walnut woodgrains, sit against cool modern glossy surface and new Amtico vinyl flooring, laid on the diagonal to visually stretch the rooms, – arguably the biggest transformation for the space.  The flooring is laid on the diagonal to visually stretch the rooms, whilst lightening and brightening the whole interior.
