This property was a true dream project to work on – also helped by the trust of our lovely clients Grace and John.

Designed with an eye for charming detail alongside modern finishes, this was to be the family’s forever home to welcome home their new baby.

The Entryway steals the show the moment you walk through the door, with its Victorian inspired floor tiles, staircase runner and soft grey panelling.  A sleek freestanding console (complete wit velvet lined drawers – very nice!) provides elegant storage and clever concealed storage was created under the stairs with pull out shoe and coat drawers to hide away clutter.

The timeless sitting room is the ultimate comforting retreat from the rest of the home, combining classic stripes with delicate floral details, bespoke media wall and contemporary lighting.  An oversized central pouff acts as a footrest and coffee table, surrounded by stylish and elegant sofas for a light and airy space.

An unexpected open plan space sits to the rear of the home, created by a large extension and home to a new kitchen, dining and family space.  A deep navy blue island combines natural oak tones with sleek quartz, marble tiles and beautiful mixed metal handles.  The contemporary black slimline lighting style touches every room in this home to trickle a modern detail in each space. I designed a stylish booth upholstered in rust colours faux velvet and lots of hidden storage underneath to frame the dining table.

The new bi-fold doors lead to the landscaped garden and surprising games garden room at the end of the outdoor space.

A huge added bonus to this space is the new garden games room which is dedicated to a large snooker table.  To echo some of the interior finishes from the house, herringbone oak planks add a feature wall and subtle dark storage gives the room function for a bar  – perfect for a fun family gathering.

The Master Bedroom feels restful and light with shades of pale pink and warm white to sit subtly next to the new oak floors.  The show stopping feature is the minimal white four poster bed which feels like it was almost meant to be in this space.

This room is filled with tactile textures from linens to cotton, wood and brass, including floor to ceiling drapes to crown the period bay window.

The pink detail is carried through to the en-suite with a feature blush double vanity, surrounded by classic marble tiling and offset with crisp modern Crittal style shower and lighting.
