Services

The Consultation

Your Bespoke Interior Design Experience Starts Here

Take advantage of the initial home visit to ask any questions you may have, bounce around ideas for your home and view some interior design packages in the flesh, so you can decide if the journey is for you.

The initial consultation is your opportunity to see if you like me and the way I work, and decide if the services suit your home, your needs and your budget.  It’s my chance to get to know you… and enjoy the grand tour of your home.

I may also need to measure the rooms, take photographs and lots of notes, look at architects plans if you have them, or chat through your Pintrest ideas.

The consultation is then usually followed up by a written no-obligation Design Proposal, which will outline the brief taken, and include a quotation for the services best suited to your needs.

Whichever rooms you are looking to transform, whatever state they are in, walk me through your thoughts, challenges and desires and leave the rest in my capable and considerate hands.

The initial consultation is usually free of charge to home within 20 miles of the design studio (CW9).  For homes further away, I charge a one-off fee to cover travel expenses, which is redeemable against any design service.

Individual Interior Design Concept

Once you have confirmed you are happy to proceed with a design concept and have secured your design slot with a deposit, that’s when the real fun begins.

The creative process can begin with various things – a piece of artwork spotted in your home, your vintage accent chair, the period of your home, or some great ideas you may have sent to inspire me.

A typical design package includes hand drawn floor plans, wall elevation details, lighting concepts, furniture arrangements, bespoke or ready-made pieces, soft furnishings, flooring, decor, styling and more.  Your design scheme will be packed with ideas, swatches, inspiration and more, to help you see all the elements in context, to decide if you love the scheme as much as I do.

I also offer optional 2D visuals which really help to bring the scheme to life, and will often provide additional plans to help contractors understand the finer details or more technical zones, such as lighting schemes and bespoke furniture.

To complete the creative elements, you will also receive a budget breakdown which details everything featured in your design package, to allow you to further research if you like it, and bring the designs to life with your own contractors if you wish.

Home Presentation

This is one of my most cherished phases of the interior project management and design process.  To help a client understand my vision for their home, and to see them drink it all in and appreciate all the details, really brings me a lot of joy.

There’s bound to be some tweaks and changes. That’s how the process often works – but by viewing every item in context with the next, you will finally start to see the whole scheme come together.

I like to take my time to walk and talk you through every detail, before leaving you with your individual design scheme, drawn plans and budget breakdown.  These are yours to keep and absorb further after the presentation
